Facebook reports video of sobbing baby being immersed in water to police

Facebook has reported a video to American police which shows a sobbing baby being repeatedly immersed in a bucket of water.
The social network has been criticised after it refused to remove the clip, which is supposedly an example of "baby yoga".
The video - nearly two minutes long - shows the baby being twisted by her arms and held upside down from her legs as she is picked up and

partly submergged in the water dozens of times.
She cries at first but stops after the carer changes the way she is holding the infant.
It is not clear when or where the video was made.

Facebook has added a warning to the video, but said the clip did not break the site's rules.
Claire Lilley from the (UK) NSPCC said Facebook needed to go further.
"We need to see quicker action to remove this content…We think it's a video of a child being abused," she said.
