UK and France plan to secure Hormuz Strait
The United Kingdom and France are working together to build a group of countries to protect the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments.
They may hold a meeting soon to plan this.
Officials say ships will only be escorted if the danger level drops, because right now the threat is still very high.
There are also reports that mines may have been placed in the area, but some ships are still passing through.
Oil prices and markets are unstable
About 20% of the world’s oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz, so any conflict affects prices quickly.
After Donald Trump warned about possible attacks on Iran, oil prices rose sharply. Later, when he mentioned possible talks, prices dropped again.
Stock markets have also fallen in recent days, including in Europe and Asia. Prices are still changing as the situation develops.

Qatar says there have been no recent attacks on its territory, but the situation is still tense.
Officials say they have faced over 200 drone attacks in total, and most were stopped.
They say they may respond in the future, but no decision has been made yet.
