Last-minute Father's Day card makes millionaire of US dad

A last-minute Father's Day gift has turned a US truck driver into an instant millionaire.
Christina Morrah, who lives near Pittsburgh, bought the scratch-off lottery ticket and stuck it in a card for her dad Joseph at the weekend.
Joseph has worked as a supermarket truck driver for 31 years, and was due to retire in a few months.
But the $20 lottery ticket has now won him the €1m jackpot, and Joseph has decided to retire early,
buy a flashy car and a new pick-up truck.
Joseph told triblive.com that when he scratched the card to reveal the word 'payout', his daughter started "screaming her head off".
“Everybody on both sides of the street heard my scream,” Christina said.
Joseph's wife, Debbie, had sent Christina out for a last-minute Father's Day gift.
“I said, ‘Buy a lottery ticket for him,' because I didn't get him anything, and I felt bad,” she said.
Four other scratch-off tickets with the same game also won the $1m top prize.
